Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, trauma histories, and to inform targeted treatment plans.

• Collaborate with patients to develop personalized treatment strategies focused on trauma recovery and promote resilience.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with special focus on modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, aimed at helping patients process their trauma, learn effective coping skills, and enhance their ability to heal.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to patients facing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available resources to empower their recovery.

• Maintain meticulous documentation that complies with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure the highest standard of care.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops focusing on trauma-informed practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be individuals who have experienced varying degrees of trauma, including but not limited to those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will have the opportunity to instill hope and resilience in patients as they navigate their recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in accordance with state regulations.
\n
• Demonstrated proficiency in trauma-related disorders and various trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to care.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress and crisis situations, displaying a calming presence to patients.
\n
• Experience working with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
\n
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve best patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a mental health counseling role, preferably with a focus on trauma interventions.

• Experience applying trauma-focused therapies and interventions that lead to measurable improvements in client well-being.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually , commensurate with experience.
