Work Environment\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Gotham Enterprises, you will have the flexibility to work remotely, ensuring that you can focus on providing high-quality therapeutic services in a conducive environment. Our supportive team utilizes state-of-the-art telehealth technologies to facilitate effective therapy sessions. Typically, therapists conduct consultations from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required based on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ unique experiences and histories.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate effective patient outcomes.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through their trauma processing, helping them adopt healthy coping strategies, and encouraging their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care, fostering a multidisciplinary environment that enhances treatment efficacy.

• Deliver crisis intervention support during emergencies and assist clients in navigating trauma-related crises.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and the healing process, while informing them of available resources to aid their recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards while protecting client privacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals affected by various forms of trauma, including those diagnosed with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. By employing a trauma-informed care model, you will address the distinct emotional and psychological needs of each patient, ensuring their safety and supporting them throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist within the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing your ability to work with trauma-affected populations.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions in various settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, reflecting your skills and experience.
