Senior Mental Health Counselor

Description We are hiring for the following Senior Mental Health Counselor Masters positions at Providence Crisis Stabilization Center in Anchorage, AK! Currently available schedules: full time, 1.0 FTE, Day, Evening, and Night shifts; 40 hours per week. $10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment. Responsible for supporting all aspects of the clinical programming for the Crisis Recovery Center. Provides direct client care services in all assigned areas that includes assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and milieu therapy. Assists leadership in the development and maintenance of standards of practice, development of quality services and new programs. The Mental Health Therapist (II) is a resource for other clinicians and demonstrates advanced clinical skill. Other professional roles include but are not limited to consultation, education, critical inquiry and direction/mentoring of personnel. Plans and provides client, family, peer and community education and coordinates services with other health care professionals including interaction with physicians or ARNP responsible for the care of the client. The Mental Health Therapist (II) follows an individualized performance development plan to maintain current knowledge and be competent in specialty areas, support program goals. Required Qualifications Master's Degree Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or Health related field Upon hire: Alaska Masters Social Worker License Or Upon hire: Alaska Clinical Social Worker License Or Upon hire: Alaska Professional Counselor License Or Upon hire: Alaska Marriage and Family Therapist License Or Upon hire: Alaska Psychologist License 5 years Clinical experience. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
