The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually, and play a crucial role in the delivery of therapeutic services and psychological assessments. As a Mental Health Counselor at our Community Health Clinic, you will have access to a comprehensive digital infrastructure that enables effective patient management, telehealth services, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Key Responsibilities Provide individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to meet the diverse psychological needs of patients. Conduct thorough assessments and intake evaluations, creating comprehensive treatment plans based on the specific circumstances and needs of patients. Maintain a productive caseload while effectively administering interventions that address crisis situations and promote recovery. Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques to counsel patients and their families, facilitating open dialogues and fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Document clinical interactions accurately in a timely manner, including progress notes, treatment logs, and individualized strategy outlines. Engage with other healthcare providers to coordinate care, ensuring a holistic approach to each patient’s treatment. Offer educational and supportive programs for both patients and their families, empowering them with tools and resources necessary for ongoing mental wellness. Conduct follow-up evaluations to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as required to meet evolving needs. Actively participate in team meetings and professional development seminars to continually enhance clinical skills and knowledge. Patient Population / Client Focus This position serves a wide range of clientele, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological disorders. Our approach to care is personalized, recognizing that each patient has unique experiences, strengths, and challenges. You will work closely with clients from various backgrounds, employing cultural competency to ensure that your therapeutic interventions are both respectful and impactful. Qualifications A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required. Current license as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LCSW-R, or PsyD is mandatory. A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical mental health setting is essential. Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychological assessments and implementing effective therapeutic interventions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must for effective collaboration with patients and multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual counseling methods will be a significant asset. A history of working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 135,000, reflecting skills and experience. Generous sign-on bonus of $1,000 for new hires. Flexible work hours, allowing you to determine your schedule with opportunities between 5-40 hours per week.
