This position offers the flexibility and convenience of remote work, allowing you to provide therapy from a safe and comfortable environment. While the core working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, you may also be required to accommodate some evening shifts based on the diverse needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of new clients to determine their unique needs, goals, and treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions employing techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to promote behavioral change.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction medicine specialists, to deliver coordinated, holistic care to patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to clients experiencing substance-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Hopeful Journey Counseling, you will primarily work with adults grappling with substance use issues, including behavioral addictions. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and present varied challenges in their recovery process. You will guide them through personalized recovery strategies, helping them develop coping skills and resilience to maintain sobriety and improve their overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.

• Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or an equivalent.

• Strong foundational knowledge of substance use disorders, recovery-oriented care practices, and evidence-based treatment models.
