Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your working schedule, while adhering to a structured routine from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You will be interacting with a supportive multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, addiction specialists, and counselors. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments upon patient intake to evaluate their needs, goals, and the severity of their substance use disorders.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate best practices in therapeutic interventions, keeping the patient’s wellness as the primary focus.

• Utilize motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based approaches during one-on-one counseling sessions to promote positive behavioral change.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions that encourage peer support and community building, fostering an environment of shared experiences and mutual encouragement.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and addiction specialists to coordinate and integrate care tailored to each patient’s journey toward recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention services in situations requiring immediate support to ensure patient safety and effective response to substance-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families about addiction, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance understanding and support their recovery processes.

• Maintain up-to-date patient records with accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Holds a valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of substance use disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and recovery-oriented practices.

• Experience providing therapeutic interventions in both individual and group settings within the context of addiction treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
