Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and sensitive assessments of clients’ mental health and substance use issues, employing evidence-based methodologies to identify co-occurring disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, ensuring these plans are rooted in best practices such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on practical coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills to empower clients in their recovery journey.

• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, coordinating care and maintaining communication to seamlessly integrate mental health and substance use services for clients.

• Engage clients in substance use monitoring and utilize motivational interviewing to reinforce their commitment to treatment and recovery goals.

• Educate clients and their families about the interconnection between mental health and substance use disorders, fostering a supportive understanding to enhance treatment compliance.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in alignment with ethical standards and legal requirements.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
