Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations through engaging interviews, ensuring accurate documentation from the first consultation to the conclusion of treatment.

• Assess and analyze clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health using standardized assessment tools and observations.
\n
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans adaptable for various populations including individuals, couples, families, and group therapy settings.
\n
• Lead individual and group therapy sessions focused on goal-setting and coping strategies, providing a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
\n
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback, ensuring alignment with therapeutic goals.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, doctors, and social workers, to create comprehensive care plans that address all aspects of a client's health.

• Maintain proactive communication with clients’ other healthcare providers, especially during transitions such as hospital admissions or discharges.

• Work actively to identify and mitigate factors that hinder recovery, equipping clients and their families with necessary tools and resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California, ensuring compliance with state regulatory standards.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Experience in the mental health counseling field showcasing a robust understanding of therapeutic practice and technique.

• Familiarity with electronic health records systems, particularly AVATAR, to streamline documentation and data management.

• Understanding of the best practices as set forth by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
