Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility in planning your workday while ensuring that our patients receive the care they need. However, you will also be expected to engage actively with your colleagues in our outpatient office setting when necessary. Our work schedule generally spans Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insight into patients’ backgrounds and challenges, which will inform individualized treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), carefully tailored to suit each patient's personal and cultural context.

• Conduct individual therapy sessions, family counseling, and group therapy to address a wide range of mental health concerns and foster an environment of support and healing.

• Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient health.

• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing acute mental health challenges, assuring them of immediate assistance during emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources, empowering them to make informed choices about their care.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in alignment with legal regulations and ethical standards.

• Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and continuous cultural competency training to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and team cohesion.

Qualifications\n

• Proficient knowledge of mental health disorders and evidenced-based treatment policies.

• Experience in delivering culturally responsive therapy in both individual and group settings.

• Excellent interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and computer software for maintaining accurate documentation.

Compensation and Benefits\n
