Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing mental health professionals to provide therapy and support from anywhere while offering flexibility and work-life balance. You will utilize telehealth technology to connect with patients during designated hours, with core operational hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but will occasionally require some flexibility depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand patients’ needs and craft tailored treatment plans that align with their goals.

• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to facilitate healing.

• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups to foster community and shared understanding among those with similar mental health experiences.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services to patients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and safety.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, treatment options, and navigate available community resources for additional support.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and improve therapeutic approaches.

• Commit to continuing education to stay abreast of the latest developments and best practices in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice serves a diverse clientele ranging from adolescents to older adults, requiring a nuanced understanding of various demographics and presenting issues. Therapists will be expected to adapt their approach to cater to the unique backgrounds and experiences of each patient, emphasizing an individualized treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Demonstrated skill in conducting assessments and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
