Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Happy Body Therapy, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to gain insights into their strengths and limitations.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunction and devising individualized treatment plans that address specific patient needs.
• Instructing patients on effective therapeutic exercises and mobility techniques to promote independence.
• Administering supportive therapies, including manual massage and therapeutic modalities, to facilitate healing.
• Guiding patients in the safe use of mobility aids such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.
• Documenting patient progress meticulously, monitoring outcomes, and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Offering professional advice and educational resources to patients and their families regarding home care strategies and exercises.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates should possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Preferred Experience
