Job Title Accounts Payable Specialist Location/Work Structure West Chester, OH | Fully Onsite Compensation $50k-$55k, DOE, up to 3.5% bonus Our client is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for the accurate and timely processing and payment of invoices and other company liabilities. What You'll Do Process accounts payable invoices and payments accurately and efficiently. Review invoices for completeness and accuracy prior to processing. Ensure payments are processed accurately and on time. Ensure proper expense accounting and general ledger coding. Work with assigned vendors and internal staff to resolve discrepancies and disputes while minimizing interruptions to services and supplies. Complete accounts payable closing activities accurately and on time to meet reporting deadlines. Research expense variances, suspense accounts, and other account issues as requested by management. Follow and apply established Accounts Payable policies and procedures. What Experience You'll Have 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience. Working knowledge of Accounts Payable processing, including an understanding of how AP transactions impact General Ledger postings. Experience with Sales and Use Tax application. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate issues to managers, coworkers, vendors, and other stakeholders. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a diverse group of employees, managers, and outside parties. Strong computer skills in a Windows environment, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
