Key Responsibilities\n

• Utilize mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to assist clients in stress management and emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients' unique challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals.

• Guide clients through a variety of mindfulness exercises, including meditation and breathing techniques, designed to enhance self-awareness and emotional regulation.

• Design and facilitate engaging group workshops and classes that focus on mindfulness practices, stress management techniques, and resilience development.

• Integrate mindfulness strategies seamlessly into individual therapy sessions to target specific mental health issues and bolster client growth.

• Document client progress meticulously, ensuring that all interventions and treatment plans are recorded accurately.

• Commit to ongoing personal mindfulness practice, reflective self-assessment, and professional development to consistently refine your practice and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role as Mental Health Therapist will encompass working with a varied client population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and those looking for a holistic approach to their mental health. Your empathy and training will help clients feel supported and understood, while your expertise will guide them toward effective coping strategies and better overall mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A strong foundation in mindfulness techniques, with experience or training in engaging clients through mindfulness-based interventions preferred.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the creation of a supportive therapeutic atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• Extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) or similar methodologies will be looked upon favorably.
