Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to identify specific needs and set treatment goals tailored to individual rehabilitation requirements.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, to address impairments and enhance mobility.
• Maintain a patient load of up to one patient per hour, ensuring focused and quality care throughout each session.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adapt treatment strategies based on their evolving needs.
• Accurately document all patient interactions, evaluations, treatment plans, and billing information in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols, preventive measures, and health maintenance strategies.
• Participate in continuous professional development, staying updated with industry best practices and treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with clients who have musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitation. Our patient population spans various age groups and backgrounds, with many individuals recovering from surgery or managing chronic pain. By fostering a positive therapeutic relationship, you will encourage patients to take an active role in their recovery process, significantly impacting their overall health and wellness.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid and current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of direct experience providing physical therapy services in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board actions against your license.
• Strong capabilities in manual therapy techniques and the ability to employ them effectively in treatment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

We prefer candidates who have experience working with diverse patient populations and those skilled in implementing a wide range of therapeutic modalities. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a proactive approach to professional development are also highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
