Work Environment

You will be engaged in an onsite role, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff. Your work schedule will typically consist of 40 hours a week, with variable weekends as needed to accommodate patient care demands. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to formulate individualized treatment plans that address their unique functional limitations.
• Implement, assess, and modify treatment plans based on ongoing patient progress and feedback, demonstrating adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.
• Provide consultations to other healthcare providers regarding patient care, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient management.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment sessions, progress notes, and billing charges, ensuring compliance with all documentation requirements.
• Engage actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and outcomes, facilitating effective collaboration.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including physical therapy aides and students, fostering a culture of learning and professional accountability.
• Participate in leadership initiatives that enhance community outreach, quality improvement, and marketing efforts for the rehabilitation services.
• Stay current with industry trends and practices through participation in continuing education and in-service training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be primarily serving patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. Your approach will encompass patient-centered care, addressing the diverse backgrounds and needs of our patient population. The ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds is essential for building trust and ensuring effective treatment outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Active and current state license to practice physical therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document patient care interventions accurately.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is strongly preferred.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, preferably focusing on orthopedic and neurological conditions.
• Please note that familiarity with community outreach programs and the implementation of treatment protocols for diverse patient populations will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

In recognition of your expertise and dedication to patient care, we offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year.
