Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the nature and severity of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with clients' personal goals, needs, and evidence-based methodologies.

• Identify and implement various therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring tailored interventions that support client progress.

• Educate clients and their families on treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care practices to empower them in managing their conditions.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their needs or circumstances.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, including referrals and liaising on treatment plans.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client interactions in compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to leverage collective insights and improve client care delivery.

• Act as an advocate for mental health awareness and stigma reduction within the community, engaging in outreach efforts as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Notably, you will work with diverse populations, including those affected by domestic violence, homelessness, and trauma, who require compassionate and informed support to regain stability in their lives. This role entails providing a safe space where clients can explore their feelings, develop coping strategies, and progress towards their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• Hold a current and active LMFT license in California.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
