Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments for new clients and develop individualized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.

• Implement therapeutic interventions through outpatient psychotherapy, providing support to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Regularly participate in staff meetings and case conferences to review and enhance treatment approaches, ensuring alignment with best practices and healthcare standards.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive, confidential clinical documentation including intake summaries, treatment plans, and progress notes in adherence to state and NCQA regulations.
\n
• Assist multidisciplinary teams, collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals to evaluate clients for potential psychotropic medication needs.
\n
• Utilize community resources effectively, coordinating with public and private agencies to optimize client care.
\n
• If qualified, supervise Post Masters Fellows or Associate-level therapists, providing guidance and support in their clinical development.
\n
• Engage with family members, educating them about therapeutic processes and strategies to encourage adherence to treatment plans.
\n
• Be available for on-call duties as necessary to provide crisis intervention and support to clients in urgent situations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will focus on a diverse patient population encompassing adults and children with a variety of mental health needs including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your contributions will directly impact the lives of clients as you guide them in developing coping strategies and life skills essential for recovery and overall mental wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is mandatory.

• Current and active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Strong understanding of mental health treatment modalities and best practices.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients and team members.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience with telehealth counseling methods and electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous. Familiarity with various treatment methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices will enhance the impact of your therapeutic interventions.
