Job Description Davis H. Elliot Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Business Analyst to support our Operations Team in improving efficiency and identifying cost‑saving opportunities. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools. Qualifications Analyze regional financial data to identify cost‑saving opportunities Evaluate, interpret, and communicate findings regularly Maintain system processes and deliver monthly status reports Respond to inquiries from managers and executives professionally Act as a liaison between Operations and Corporate Finance/Accounting Prepare journal entries to reallocate costs across jobs or cost centers Assist Operations Admin team with reporting and various tasks Perform ad hoc duties as assigned Additional Requirements Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines Commitment to maintaining professional knowledge Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Spectrum, SAP) Today, we are listed among Engineering News-Records Top 150 Specialty Contracting firms.
