Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and nurture trusting relationships with clients to create a safe therapeutic environment.

• Conduct thorough assessments of client needs, including risk assessments and crisis interventions, and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.

• Deliver short-term, evidence-based interventions tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.

• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans based on client progress and feedback, focusing on empowerment and choice.

• Document all therapeutic activities and maintain compliance with COHC's ethical guidelines and organizational policies.

• Participate in continuous professional development to remain informed on best practices in clinical social work.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will work with individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges and severe emotional issues, particularly those from underprivileged backgrounds. The center serves a diverse population, and the clinician is expected to have sensitivity towards various cultural, socio-economic, and personal backgrounds. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.

• Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas is required.
