Work Environment\n

This role is designed to be fully remote, utilizing advanced telehealth technologies to connect with patients securely and effectively. You will have the flexibility to manage your schedule while adhering to our core work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed mental health assessments for patients to identify their needs and challenges, developing tailored treatment plans that address their specific situations.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, in individual and group settings.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that foster community and provide coping strategies for individuals dealing with similar mental health issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention services to individuals experiencing acute mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate support and resources are available.

• Educate patients on their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and pertinent community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

• Engage in professional development activities, including case consultations and team meetings, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

• Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health therapy, integrating this knowledge into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Connecticut.
\n
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment methodologies, and a proven ability to apply them in practice.

• Experience in providing therapy to diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence and sensitivity.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate trust and rapport-building with patients.

• Strong judgment and ethics, maintaining professional boundaries at all times.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology platforms used in telehealth settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n
