Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of clients, utilizing various assessment tools and techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s specific goals and challenges.
• Provide one-on-one counseling, as well as family and group therapy sessions, to address a range of mental health concerns.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Act as the primary contact for clients' treatment, ensuring clear communication regarding care processes and interventions.
• Foster a therapeutic environment that promotes recovery-oriented, evidence-based practices and trauma-informed care.
• Participate in regular team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress and treatment strategies.
• Engage in community outreach efforts to promote services and raise awareness about mental health resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Licensed Professional Counselor will primarily work with children, adolescents, and their families. You will be instrumental in delivering critical support to young individuals facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Our clinic’s multidisciplinary approach allows you to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in need.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Strong ability to develop therapeutic relationships by demonstrating appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively connect with clients and document treatment outcomes.
• Competence in conducting mental health assessments and utilizing standardized assessment tools.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience providing counseling services, particularly working with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and recovery-oriented models in a clinical setting.
• Experience in developing and implementing treatment plans based on best practices in mental health.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 yearly , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
