Job DescriptionPeddler's Village's Flagship Restaurant, the Cock 'N Bull is in search of an experienced culinary leader to join our team as a Sous Chef . Our Sous Chefs are passionate, hands-on leaders who guide and support our culinary team. With a commitment to excellence, they help bring creativity and precision to every dish, ensuring a seamless kitchen experience and an unforgettable dining experience for our guests.
Requirements:
- Ability to assume responsibility for kitchen in absence of Executive Chef
- Ensure all menu items are executed properly, by working the line, expo and/or directing the team
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation procedures are followed
- Strong passion for culinary excellence
- Proven ability to develop and lead a team
- Knowledge of systems, methods and processes that contribute to great execution
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- 3+ years culinary supervisory experience in a high volume restaurant environment
