Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms and understand their specific mental health challenges.

• Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, taking into consideration their unique needs, goals, and therapeutic preferences.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address mood disorders effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, possible treatment pathways, and effective self-care strategies to promote active participation in their recovery process.

• Monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and response to therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in cooperative care with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to treatment.

• Stay informed about the latest research, methodologies, and advancements in mental health to continually enhance the quality of care provided.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in line with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings and professional development workshops to share insights and best practices tailored to the treatment of mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) is required.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience with mood disorders, addiction issues, or related behavioral health concerns.

• An understanding of California regulations, laws, and professional ethics as applicable to mental health practice.
\n
• Successful completion of background checks through the FBI and DOJ is mandatory.
\n
• A current TB test within the past six months.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges between $115,000 and $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
