Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths as well as challenges faced by students and their families.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based social work interventions tailored to the educational and emotional needs of students.

• Facilitate effective discharge planning by coordinating with educational personnel, healthcare providers, and families to ensure a smooth transition and continued support post-hospitalization.
\n
• Provide counseling and educational sessions for students and families addressing adaptation strategies related to student well-being and life transitions.
\n
• Utilize crisis intervention techniques and engage in short-term and long-term therapeutic practices as needed to support students dealing with acute challenges.
\n
• Collaborate with the broader healthcare team, ensuring that students’ needs are communicated and addressed throughout their treatment journey.

• Provide educational workshops for school staff to enhance their understanding of psychosocial issues impacting student behavior and learning.
\n
• Participate in on-call rotations to offer support during after-hours scenarios, ensuring students have access to needed assistance at all times.

• Act as a resource for fellow clinicians and other personnel, sharing best practices in psychosocial interventions in an educational context.

• Contribute to community outreach through programs and volunteer work, further contributing to mental health education and resources available to families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
