AI Agent Workflow Specialist

Design, run, and refine agentic AI workflows that simulate real professional processes to improve enterprise productivity. In this contractor role you will use your domain experience to evaluate and train next-generation AI systems, identifying gaps in reasoning, tool use, and workflow integration so models perform better in real-world scenarios. No prior AI experience is required, your everyday professional knowledge is the primary qualification.

micro1 is an AI data lab that trains frontier models and evaluates AI agents. Experts from domains such as finance, healthcare, and engineering contribute real-world knowledge to create high-quality training data, evaluations, and feedback that improve how AI systems learn and reason. The organization aims to scale expert contributions globally to build the human intelligence layer for frontier AI.

• Apply professional domain experience to evaluate and enhance AI model capabilities in realistic workflows and scenarios.
• Design, execute, and iterate multi-step, agentic workflows that simulate critical professional processes.
• Detect and analyze reasoning gaps, workflow limitations, and tool-use failures in AI agent outputs, and convert findings into detailed, constructive feedback for model improvement.
• Create comprehensive examples, test cases, and operational playbooks drawn from day-to-day work in your field.
• Collaborate with research and product teams to communicate nuanced domain feedback and influence model development priorities.
• Document workflow outcomes and contribute to best-practice libraries for AI agent adoption and enablement.

• Required skills: AI Adoption, AI Enablement, Process Improvement, AI Agents.
• Preferred background: extensive professional experience in Sales, Growth Product Management, Project Management, Finance, or a similar domain where AI agents are regularly used.
• Proven ability to connect data sources, configure permissions and authentication, and integrate AI agents with productivity tools and business systems.
• Hands-on experience building and operating agentic workflows, not only using tools, demonstrated by designing and implementing multi-tool workflows with integrations such as Gmail, Drive, Slack, Jira, MCP connectors, APIs, or automation platforms like Zapier, Make, or n8n.
• Strong analytical skills for identifying AI model performance gaps and proposing practical, domain-grounded solutions.
• Clear communication skills, able to explain complex process requirements and improvement strategies to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enthusiasm for advancing AI adoption and enablement in fast-moving business environments.
