Tamil Audio Recording Expert [Remote]

Role Overview

Produce high-fidelity Tamil recordings that help train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role centers on delivering natural, accurate spoken-language audio that supports how AI models learn, reason, and perform. Prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Record Tamil audio samples from provided scripts and according to project guidelines using professional-grade equipment.
• Deliver clean, well-organized audio files suitable for data-driven environments.
• Maintain accurate pronunciation, natural fluency, intonation, and consistent recording quality.
• Review recordings to ensure they meet established project standards.
• Work with project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities.
• Provide audio samples during the engagement process and respond promptly to feedback and requested refinements.
• Communicate clearly and concisely in writing and verbally throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

• Native Tamil proficiency, with exceptional articulation and awareness of dialect differences.
• At least 3 years of demonstrated professional audio-recording experience, ideally in media, broadcast, or educational settings.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot high-quality recording equipment and software.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent, error-free recordings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to give and incorporate clear feedback.
• Ability to work independently while meeting strict quality and file-format requirements.
• Experience contributing audio to language technology, e-learning, or voice-activated platforms is a plus.

Work Terms

• Remote independent contractor engagement.
• Professional audio equipment is required and must be available during the interview.

Compensation

$10 to $30 per hour.
