CNC Mill Machinist
Up to $35/Hour Depending on Experience | 1st Shift | Custom Job Shop
Environment
Join a growing custom machine shop that has been designing and building
custom polyurethane foaming fixtures since 1983. Our team manufactures unique
equipment for industries including insulated doors, HVAC panels, and cabinet
production. If you enjoy setup work, variety, and machining custom one-off and
short-run parts, this is an excellent opportunity.
What You'll Do

• Set up and operate Haas VF-Series CNC Mills (VFN & VF4)
• Machine custom parts from blueprints and engineering drawings
• Perform program edits, tooling changes, troubleshooting, and machine operation from setup through completion
• Complete multiple setups throughout the day (typically 5-10)
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, and thread gauges
• Assist with manual machining on Bridgeport mills and manual lathes with digital readouts (training available)

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of CNC mill setup experience
• Experience setting up and operating Haas CNC mills
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and precision inspection tools
• Ability to troubleshoot machining and setup issues
• Experience with manual machining is a plus
• Knowledge of grinders and general machine shop equipment preferred

This is a Permanent position based out of Vadnais Heights, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $73000.00/yr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
- 401k Match - Medical, dental, vision- PTO (on contract to hire as well!!)- 7 Days Holiday pay (on contract to hire as well!!) - 1.5 time on Saturday and double time on Sunday - Training for pay bumps- PPE provided- Looking to double their facility so the opportunity for various leadership opportunity
