Location: Columbia, MD or Frederick, MD


Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)


Salary: $75,000- $80,000

About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable HR Generalist . This individual will support daytoday HR operations and partner closely with HR leadership and recruiting teams to maintain continuity across key functions.

Key Responsibilities

General HR Support

• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and provide highquality, confidential HR support.
  
  
• Assist with maintaining personnel records and ensuring data accuracy across HR systems.
  
  
• Support compliance-related tasks, including tracking credentials, trainings, licensure, and auditready documentation.
  
  

Talent Acquisition Support

• Assist recruiters with scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, reviewing applications, and conducting reference or pre-offer checks.
  
  
• Help manage candidate movement within the ATS to ensure timely updates and accuracy.
  
  

Employee Experience & Engagement

• Support employee events, announcements, and recognition programs.
  
  
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding tasks, including preparing documents and coordinating logistics.
  
  

HR Operations & Projects

• Update HR documents such as forms, templates, and guides as needed.
  
  
• Help track HR metrics or maintain spreadsheets-intermediate Excel skills preferred.
  
  
• Support ongoing HR projects, policy updates, and compliance initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR coordinator capacity.
  
  
• Ability to work independently, exercise strong judgment, and handle confidential information.
  
  
• Proficiency with HR information systems and intermediate Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, data accuracy).
  
  
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
  
  
• Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment and supporting multiple stakeholders.
  
  

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $80,000.00 per hour
