Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews and document client cases, tracking progress from the initial consultation through the completion of treatment.

• Assess the mental, behavioral, and emotional health of clients using evidence-based practices and clinical judgment.
\n
• Design individualized intervention and recovery plans suited to the unique needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.

• Continuously monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers to align intervention efforts and ensure comprehensive care.

• Maintain follow-up communications with healthcare providers regarding clients' hospital admissions and discharge plans.

• Proactively identify and address behaviors that may hinder a client's recovery, providing guidance and support to clients and their families.

• Educate and support family members or primary caregivers in managing mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Silver Linings Counseling Services, you will serve a diverse client population facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, and other emotional disturbances. Your work will focus on fostering resilience and promoting mental wellness, using a person-centered approach tailored to each individual's needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor within an outpatient setting.
