Sales Manager

Essential Duties Develop the new business, new accounts Expand the existing account business Develop customized proposals and pricing strategies to win new freight opportunities. Negotiate rates and terms with customers to close profitable deals. Collaborate with Steam shipping company and Airlines, warehouse, carrier sales, dispatch, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of freight movements. Monitor market trends, spot rates, and competitor activity to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Provide weekly sales activity reports, pipeline updates, and revenue forecasts to leadership. Establish a high-performing and profitable freight brokerage operation and eventually take on a leadership role to guide and expand a team of top-performing freight brokers. Visit to customer, vendor, port, if necessary Providing other general support regarding shipping and logistics coordination as needed. Coordinating with Customs Broker and/or US Customs House as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
