This position is fully remote, utilizing telehealth technology to connect with clients across Savannah, Georgia, and beyond. Our telehealth platform is user-friendly, designed to ensure both counselors and clients can engage effortlessly in real-time sessions. Hours are flexible; however, adherence to clients’ availability is essential. This role is structured to allow you to focus solely on therapeutic practice and client engagement, while we manage billing and administrative tasks to enhance your productivity and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Provide effective individual, couple, and family counseling sessions that address a variety of mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, and health coaches, to deliver a holistic approach to treatment.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records using our secure electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and staying current with developments in the mental health field.

• Attend regular staff meetings and case reviews to contribute insights that enhance the clinic’s services and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base primarily consists of adults and adolescents seeking outpatient care for a variety of mental health issues, ranging from minor stressors to complex mental health disorders. The counselor will be expected to approach therapy with sensitivity, employing diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to suit individual preferences and needs, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Georgia.
