This position offers the flexibility of remote work while functioning within an established outpatient office framework. While the majority of your schedule will be standard business hours, there may be occasional evening or weekend sessions to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive mental health assessments to obtain a comprehensive understanding of clients' emotional and psychological needs, which will inform personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other relevant techniques tailored to each individual’s unique background and experiences.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions focused on fostering resilience, coping mechanisms, and personal growth among patients.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to streamline patient care and integrate treatment approaches for holistic support.

• Offer crisis intervention services, equipped to handle urgent mental health situations with poise and professionalism.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment strategies, and available community resources to empower them in their journey toward wellness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards, ensuring that all documentation reflects patients' progress and treatment outcomes.

• Actively participate in case conferences and team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations to enhance service delivery.

• Engage in ongoing cultural competency training to ensure practices are inclusive and responsive to the diverse needs of our clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Possession of an active and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders and familiarity with diverse evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in providing culturally responsive therapy to individuals and groups, particularly from underserved populations.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to effectively navigate emergencies and high-stress situations.
