Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain and complete crisis alerts for effective coordination with county crisis services, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions for participants in need.

• Document and manage hospital and inpatient service transitions, collaborating closely with hospital staff to facilitate smooth discharges and necessary program transfers.

• Employ crisis de-escalation techniques and provide milieu support as the designated Clinician of the Day, ensuring a secure and therapeutic environment for all clients.
\n
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop personalized safety plans, documenting every step effectively to maintain high standards of care.
\n
• Complete same-day documentation for individuals at risk of crisis service interactions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
\n
• Submit critical incident reporting forms within 24 hours if required, keeping comprehensive records of any significant events that arise.
\n
• Offer care coordination support by alternating on-call responsibilities after hours to provide assistance to clients as needed.
\n
• Work proactively with clients to avoid reliance on crisis services, fostering resilience and self-efficacy in managing their mental health.

• Fulfill additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall mission of the organization.

This role serves a diverse client population, including individuals in crisis, those managing chronic mental health conditions, and clients seeking support for personal growth and wellness. Your engagement will focus on stabilizing clients, advocating for their needs, and equipping them with the tools necessary for self-improvement and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Clinical Social Work from an accredited institution (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).

• Licensure in the state of Oregon as an independent professional (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC) with the ability to operate autonomously in delivering mental health therapy.

• Proven capacity for extensive mental tasks requiring educated judgment, effective communication, and empathetic listening skills.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to triage priorities and manage tasks effectively in a high caseload environment.
