Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients by establishing rapport and positive professional relationships, adhering to ethical guidelines that ensure client confidentiality and trust.

• Conduct regular sessions to monitor client progress, provide stability, navigate upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharge planning when appropriate.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans centered on clients’ unique needs and goals, regularly revising them based on feedback and observed progress.

• Maintain thorough and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, to comply with regulatory requirements and best practices in mental health care.

• Perform intake assessments to adequately evaluate new clients’ needs, establishing initial treatment strategies that best serve their mental health objectives.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Professional Counselor will work with a varied patient demographic ranging from children to adults, each coping with diverse mental health challenges. You’ll address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics in an outpatient setting, ensuring that each client receives tailored support that adheres to their unique backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) status in the state of Texas.

• Minimum of two years post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting, demonstrating proficiency in counseling and treatment methodologies.

• Competence in using various digital tools and software, including Microsoft Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY for client management and documentation.
