Role Description The Head of Finance (Contract) is responsible for overseeing all financial operations and providing strategic financial leadership to support O.A. Foods’ growth and stability. This remote role includes managing budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Head of Finance will review and analyze financial statements, identify trends and risks, and recommend actions to improve performance and efficiency. The role also involves establishing and maintaining internal controls, supporting compliance with relevant regulations, partnering with cross-functional teams on business initiatives, and presenting financial insights to senior leadership to inform decision-making.\n
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance, with proven experience overseeing financial operations and strategy.

• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and interpretation.

• Advanced Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

• Demonstrated experience in Budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

• Experience in a consumer goods or food industry environment is beneficial.

• Knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements relevant to corporate finance.

• Ability to work effectively in a remote, contract capacity, managing priorities with minimal supervision.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is an asset.
