Role Overview
Use research-level mathematical knowledge to create, review, and refine advanced problems, solutions, and proofs that will be used to train next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role emphasizes rigorous calculus and higher mathematics content, precise technical explanations, and contributions that improve how models learn and reason. No prior AI experience is required.
Key Responsibilities- Author and review advanced mathematical problems, solutions, and proofs across calculus and higher mathematics domains.
- Design and analyze mathematical challenges, ensuring clarity, correctness, and research-level rigor.
- Evaluate and refine mathematical content for inclusion in AI training datasets.
- Produce technical analyses, explanations, and justifications that reflect rigorous mathematical standards.
- Apply research methodology to develop and verify mathematical concepts and techniques.
- Communicate complex mathematical ideas in precise, accessible written and verbal formats for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with project teams to provide domain expertise that enhances AI learning processes.
- Required skills: research methodology, mathematics, mathematical proof writing, advanced mathematics, mathematical problem solving.
- Demonstrated experience producing research papers, proofs, or technical analyses in academic or applied settings.
- Advanced understanding of calculus, proof techniques, and other higher mathematics topics.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred background: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
- Experience contributing to collaborative or international research projects is a plus.
