We value incredible people with incredible skills – but your commitment to a greater cause is something we value even more.While working as an Anesthesia Technician you will perform duties under the supervision of licensed anesthesia care physicians and assist the licensed anesthesia physician in the clinical setting. To be successful you will:Demonstrate practical knowledge and expertise in all general areas of anesthesiaMaintain the anesthesia environment, equipment, supplies and personnel to facilitate department functions.Ensure department compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements related to anesthesia careOversee and maintains inventory of equipment and supplies.This is a PRN position (5 shifts scheduled in a 6-week period). This position is used to cover call-offs, vacations, and where coverage may be needed. PRN is not eligible for benefits but does offer a 15% differential on top of the base rate of pay.In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified Anesthesia Techs will be required to have the following:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious healthcare related experienceBasic computer skillsBasic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationPhysical Requirements - Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)Penrose - St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St. Francis Hospital - Interquest.
