Quality Technician details: Temp-to-hire position $20.00 to $28.00/hour Full-time work available First shift Independently perform complex in-process, final, and receiving inspections on CNC machined components. Read, interpret, and zone/balloon aerospace blueprints. Create inspection forms, quality documentation packages, and select appropriate gaging and inspection methods for dimensional verification. Utilize advanced inspection equipment, including optical comparators, surface plate equipment, bore gauges, and perform basic CMM operations, ensuring proper calibration and usage. Support internal and customer audits, ensuring compliance with customer. Train and mentor Quality Technician I employees. Quality technician qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred. 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in aerospace or precision machining. Strong blueprint reading. Proficiency with standard inspection equipment and electronic quality records/ERP systems. Basic CMM operation and reporting, root cause analysis tools, lean manufacturing principles, aerospace customer requirements.
