Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans, collaborating with clients to set and achieve therapeutic goals.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies and develop pre-crisis and crisis plans tailored to individual needs.
\n
• Document all clinical encounters and maintain accurate records in accordance with regulatory standards to ensure compliance and quality of care.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment.
\n
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to craft and implement effective positive behavior support plans.
\n
• Participate actively in the organization’s licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.
\n
• Serve as a liaison between clients and various service systems, including state agencies and community resources, advocating for their needs and accessing necessary support.
\n
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders and community partners to align services with organizational goals and enhance program visibility.
\n
• Foster relationships with local, state, and private agencies to identify and secure potential partnerships and funding opportunities.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities such as conferences, workshops, and community representation, contributing to your growth and the agency’s mission.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to support the overall function of the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with mental health issues, substance use disorders, and other emotional wellness challenges. Your role will be crucial in guiding these individuals through their recovery journeys, equipping them with practical tools and supports to address their unique needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling is required.

• An independent LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory to practice in this role.

• Strong record-keeping abilities and proficiency in preparing various clinical reports are essential.

• Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Sound judgment and the capacity to make independent decisions based on clinical knowledge and ethical standards is a must.

Preferred Experience\n
