Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough consultations with interdisciplinary team members to ensure holistic approaches to patient care.

• Perform age-appropriate assessments and interventions for clients, focusing on tailored therapeutic techniques that align with individual needs.

• Lead parent support groups, offering guidance and a therapeutic space for discussions around sensitive topics such as adoption and effects on prenatally substance-exposed children.
\n
• Execute developmental evaluations for children, using validated tools and methodologies to assess and monitor their progress.
\n
• Plan and facilitate training sessions for a diverse range of stakeholders including clients, social workers, attorneys, judges, educators, and fellow mental health professionals, reinforcing best practices in family therapy and child development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with couples, families, and individuals, providing support across a wide range of issues, including relationship challenges, parenting difficulties, and emotional hardships. A special focus will be placed on families with children facing developmental challenges or those who may have been impacted by substance exposure during pregnancy. Your expertise will guide the therapeutic process, helping clients navigate their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• Must be a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an active state license.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required; a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline is preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating a solid foundation in therapeutic techniques.
