This role is primarily remote, affording flexibility while maintaining a vital link to students and schools in the Topeka, Kansas area. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with educators, healthcare providers, and families, utilizing digital tools and resources to engage with clients and manage caseloads efficiently. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide direct clinical services to students exhibiting symptoms of severe emotional disorders or major mental illnesses, both in school settings and the community.

• Assess the needs of clients through initial screenings, developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual circumstances.

• Carry a caseload that requires conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions while ensuring each client's treatment aligns with their specific goals and needs.

• Engage collaboratively with fellow team members to advance shared goals and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Implement integrated care plans and facilitate access to additional community resources and support services as needed.
\n
• Actively participate in crisis interventions, providing immediate support and counseling to clients during critical situations.
\n
• Monitor ongoing client progress and adjust treatment plans based on outcomes to promote effective recovery.
\n
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation regarding assessments, treatment progress, and adherence to discharge criteria.

• Participate in professional development actively, including training sessions and team meetings, to continually enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on school-aged children and adolescents who may experience a range of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical social work experience, particularly in educational or community settings.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.

Compensation and Benefits\n
