In this remote working role, you will be part of a dynamic outpatient office setting that prioritizes teamwork, professional development, and a patient-centered approach. Our clinic operates from Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patient requirements. This flexible yet structured schedule allows for work-life balance while maintaining a strong commitment to our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the mental health needs of children and adolescents, taking into consideration their developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate both clinical best practices and the unique characteristics of each patient.
\n
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy to address various mental health issues.
\n
• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication and support within the family unit.
\n
• Engage in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety, and coordinating with other emergency service providers as necessary.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child psychiatrists, social workers, and educational specialists, to ensure a comprehensive care approach.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, therapeutic processes, and available community resources to empower them in their treatment journey.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Participate in weekly team meetings and case consultations, sharing insights and contributing to continuous improvement in care delivery.

• Stay abreast of current trends, research, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to enhance service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on child and adolescent populations, including individuals dealing with complex mental health issues. Working closely with young clients, you will utilize a compassionate, child-centered approach to build rapport and trust that fosters a safe therapeutic environment. In collaboration with families, your goal will be to implement effective strategies that not only address immediate mental health challenges but also promote long-term well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or licensed Psychologist in the state of California is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, along with evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Experience in providing individual and family therapy to young clients, with a proven track record of successful interventions.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a nurturing and understanding approach toward clients.

• Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with relevant computer applications is a must.

Compensation and Benefits\n
