Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to identify the mental health, emotional, and behavioral needs of clients upon initial intake.

• Develop and implement personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client’s recovery goals and objectives.

• Provide high-quality individual, couples, and group counseling sessions utilizing therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and other relevant interventions.

• Engage in active collaboration with interdisciplinary treatment teams, including medical professionals and social workers, to deliver comprehensive care tailored to the individual needs of clients.

• Document and maintain accurate client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and security.

• Participate in regular clinical supervision, case conferences, and professional development initiatives to enhance therapeutic skills and promote continuous learning.

You will be working with a diverse array of clients, many of whom are facing significant challenges related to addiction, trauma, and mental health crises. Your ability to demonstrate empathy, cultural sensitivity, and strong communication skills will be crucial in fostering therapeutic relationships that lead to meaningful recovery outcomes. Your interventions will address not only substance misuse but also emotional crises, trauma recovery, and suicide prevention strategies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field is required.

• An active and independent LMHC license in New York State.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
