We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team at VIP Physical Therapy & Wellness, located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. As a member of our rehabilitation center, you will engage directly with patients to develop personalized rehabilitation treatment plans that focus on strengthening mobility, alleviating pain, enhancing balance and flexibility, and ultimately restoring optimal function.

Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in East Brunswick, offering a supportive and dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to devise individualized treatment strategies that cater to their unique needs.
• Implement a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, exercise therapy, and modalities to alleviate pain and expedite recovery.
• Work collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team to discuss patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Participate in clinical teaching, mentoring students, interns, and new staff in their therapeutic techniques and clinical reasoning.
• Engage in continuous education and present at least one annual in-service seminar to enhance clinical knowledge within the team.
• Actively contribute to the development of educational and resources materials based on identified staff needs.
• Potentially initiate clinical research projects in your area of expertise, with guidance from a supported manager.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong therapeutic relationships with patients, guiding them through their recovery journeys, and allowing them to regain their independence and quality of life. You will also communicate effectively with patients to ensure comprehension of treatment goals and progress, thereby fostering a supportive environment that encourages participation and motivation.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is essential.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to patients and their families effectively.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly desired.
• Experience in developing and implementing evidence-based treatment protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and documentation practices to enhance patient care craftsmanship.

Compensation and Benefits
