Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, you will:

• Assist primary care providers in recognizing, addressing, and managing patients' mental health needs as an integral member of the care team.

• Conduct detailed patient intakes focusing on both diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, offering well-informed recommendations to enhance treatment plans.

• Provide brief, focused mental health interventions tailored to individual patient situations, ensuring effective support for those facing acute challenges.

• Monitor and evaluate the overall wellbeing of patients, facilitating timely follow-ups to assess progress and adjust treatment methods as necessary.

• Develop relapse prevention plans and equip patients with coping strategies to enhance their resilience and stability.

• Coordinate behavioral health care, ensuring seamless communication with external treatment providers while gathering patient consent.

• Provide insights and consultations to clinic management and peers on behavioral health programs, contributing to outcome evaluations and areas for improvement.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) license in California.

• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health evaluation methods, treatment modalities—including cognitive behavioral therapy, and family systems approaches—and DSM-IV diagnostic criteria.

• Eligibility to work with a variety of assessment tools and therapeutic frameworks to effectively support our patient population.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster effective relationships with patients, families, and team members.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document assessments, treatment plans, and patient interactions as needed.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 87,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
