Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Marysville, California. This travel assignment starts 08/10/2026 and runs for 8 weeks in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,851 to $1,925 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: 3x12-night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on the Med Surg unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Administer medications, monitor patient status, and respond to clinical changes
- Collaborate with physicians and the health care team to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care
- Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record and ensure smooth transition across shifts

Requirements
- California Registered Nurse license (RN) in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
- Demonstrated competency in dysrhythmia during orientation (for most departments)
- At least two years of recent clinical experience in the field
- Ability to work night shifts in a hospital environment and provide safe patient care
