Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and develop appropriate, tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver a combination of in-person and remote counseling sessions for individuals, couples, families, or support groups, offering adaptable therapeutic solutions.

• Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to address clients’ symptoms effectively.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting all interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with medical professionals and community organizations to facilitate comprehensive care and resource access for clients and their families.

• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your therapeutic skills and keep abreast of advancements in mental health practices.

• Adhere to strict confidentiality standards and ethical guidelines at all times, ensuring a safe space for clients to share their experiences.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be delivering mental health services to cancer patients across various stages—diagnosis, living with the disease, recurrence, end-of-life, and survivorship—as well as their caregivers. Your compassionate approach will help foster resilience and provide necessary support in challenging and transformative life moments.

Qualifications\n

• A valid Social Work License recognized by state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
\n
• Proven ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within an outpatient mental health agency.

• Exemplary communication skills, demonstrating an ability to share information effectively while listening to the needs of clients and colleagues.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.
\n
• Eligibility to work in the U.S.
