Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and ongoing evaluations to document client progress from the first consultation through the duration of therapy.

• Evaluate clients' mental, behavioral, and emotional states to inform treatment decisions and therapeutic approaches.

• Create individualized treatment plans that are tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities based on evidence-based practices.

• Monitor client adherence to treatment plans, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to promote holistic care for clients.

• Provide follow-up communication with healthcare providers for clients who require additional care or hospitalization.
\n
• Proactively identify and address behaviors or factors that may impede recovery, helping clients develop coping strategies and resilience.

• Support families and primary caregivers in managing their loved ones' mental health challenges through education and resources.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills suitable for diverse client interactions and professional communication.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team, showcasing excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Experience\n

• Relevant experience in a clinical setting as a mental health counselor, with a focus on individual, group, and family therapy.

• Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR, for thorough documentation and treatment planning.

• Experience with clients who have complex mental health issues, including co-occurring disorders and varying socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and a solid understanding of medication impact and management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus to welcome you to our team.
