Work Environment\n

This role is designed for a remote work setting, primarily serving school-age children and their families. Although the majority of work will be performed remotely, you will occasionally engage with students and educators directly, fostering relationships that encourage open communication and support. Your contributions will directly assist our educational partners in providing comprehensive care for students.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students and their families, utilizing standardized tools and outcome measures to inform practice.

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, applying evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to address a wide array of issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma.
\n
• Formulate and implement personalized service plans tailored to the individual goals and objectives of clients, periodically revisiting these plans to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

• Advocate for the rights of clients while facilitating access to necessary resources, including educational supports, mental health services, and community resources aimed at promoting social justice.
\n
• Collaborate with teachers, school administrators, and community organizations to develop and enhance programs that address the emotional and social needs of students.
\n
• Engage in program evaluation and grant reporting, contributing your insights to improve service delivery and inform future program development.

• Participate in regular team meetings, professional training, and community outreach efforts to stay informed and connected within the professional community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary clientele will consist of students ranging from elementary to high school, along with their families. You will address complex challenges, including behavioral issues, academic difficulties, and family dynamics, with a trauma-informed lens that enhances both support and empowerment.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A strong understanding of developmental psychology, social justice principles, and advocacy methodologies is essential.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with both students and parents.

• Empathy, patience, and a high degree of professionalism are crucial for success in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of experience working in a nonprofit or educational setting, ideally in a role supporting children and families.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a sign-on bonus to newly hired LCSWs.
