TIG Welder (Precision Welding | Clean Shop | Custom Fabrication)

Are you a skilled TIG welder who takes pride in clean, high-quality welds? Join a team where craftsmanship matters. This is not a repetitive production welding role. You'll work on custom stainless steel assemblies, piping systems, and structural components in a clean, temperature-controlled environment using state-of-the-art TIG and orbital welding equipment.

Work with a team that values craftsmanship and precision

• Set up and perform precision TIG welding on stainless steel, piping, and structural components
• Operate orbital welding equipment for specialized pipe applications
• Select proper filler metals and adjust welding parameters to meet specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
• Perform pipe fitting, fabrication, and assembly work using hand and power tools
• Complete weld quality inspections to ensure finished products meet customer and ASME standards
• Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a safe work environment

• 2+ years of TIG welding experience in a fabrication or custom manufacturing environment
• Strong stainless steel welding skills
• Experience with pipe welding and pipe fitting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and detailed drawings
• Experience with orbital welding equipment is highly preferred
• MIG welding experience a plus
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, quality welds
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hands-on shop environment
• ASME certification and/or extensive welding experience preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockton, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Rockton,IL.
